The decoration and the atmosphere of this restaurant is very nice. The food was tasty, and it had this "feeling" of being homemade. The "mastava" soup was a bit too oily for my taste, but, since that's the first time I had Uzbek food I don't have any reference for comparison. The lamp chops dish I had was simple, but excellently prepared! The service was a bit slow, but that might be due to the fact that the staff wasn't speaking English; the menu is available in English, though.
That was the first time I tried Uzbek food and hopefully not the last! All the dishes were very tasty and well prepared & flavored. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Prices are very affordable! I would definitely come back!
Went here back in January whilst on a business trip, and I was previously unfamiliar with both Uzbek and Lithuanian food but I wanted to try the plov. I tried it and can honestly say it was fantastic and very tasty. When I next return to Vilnius, I will eat here again. The venue was warm and welcoming and the food was great. Food and service was 5/5 stars. I wish we had food as good as this in England!
The taste of each of their dishes are unique, fresh and authentic in its own taste and it is worth many visits. The depth in each of its dishes, braised, stewed, baked and steamed has elevated the sensory receptors of dinning out in a country and experiencing another culture of genuine warmth and hospitality in the restaurant. They are really worth a visit ! Two days in a row and still not enough.
